40 hours per week. Various working hours. £12.71 per hour. ArrowXL is hiring for a Transport Administrator to support the warehouse and planning teams in managing vehicle movements on site. The role involves close collaboration with drivers, ensuring efficient flow of vehicles across the network and maintaining accurate transport records.
Responsibilities
- Data entry on Microsoft Excel
- General transport office duties
- Resolve day to day concerns within the transport department
- Ensure smooth flow of vehicles operating within the AXL network
- Gather information regarding driver delays
- Support debrief of drivers upon return to the depot
- Monitor on road progress and keep management informed of any issues
Qualifications
- Strong time management skills and the ability to manage conflicting priorities
- Microsoft Excel knowledge
- Computer literacy - will use transport management systems (training provided)
- Good communication skills
- Self starter with a drive to improve processes
