We are recruiting for an Area Sales Manager to cover our Towcester Depot area. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a successful and expanding family-owned business as part of a driven and experienced Sales team. The successful candidate will be selling new and used machinery from leading franchises such as Case IH, JCB, Bailey Trailers, and many more.
Responsibilities:
- Represent the dealership in the sale of machinery to customers in a defined sales area.
- Maintain current product knowledge on features and benefits of all equipment and services offered by the dealership - this will be supported by regular sales training and events.
- Maintain current knowledge of financing options to assist customers in securing the purchase of new and used goods.
- Monitor competitor activity, products, and services, and feedback to sales management accordingly.
- Conduct new equipment field demonstrations.
- Build strong and loyal relationships with defined sales area customers.
- Recognise and monitor trends in customer business activity and communicate to management in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
- 1+ years equipment sales experience.
- A good knowledge of agricultural equipment and farming operational practices.
- The ability to use standard computer applications, internet functions, and sales tools.
- The ability to analyse and interpret internal reports.
- Excellent customer relationship skills.
- The ability to work extended hours.
- An excellent attitude, conducting themselves with confidence, integrity, and honesty.
