We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Groundsperson to support the maintenance and upkeep of the outdoor sports facilities at Colets Health Club. This is a part-time role (20 hours per week) ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors and takes pride in maintaining high quality playing surfaces.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out routine grounds maintenance across all sports areas
  • Mowing, marking, and general upkeep of pitches including football, cricket, and rugby
  • Ensuring all playing surfaces are safe, presentable, and fit for use
  • Basic maintenance of equipment and reporting any faults or issues
  • Assisting with seasonal pitch preparation and renovation works
  • General site tidiness, including litter picking and minor repairs
  • Supporting other facilities maintenance tasks as required

Requirements

  • Previous experience in grounds maintenance or a similar outdoor role is desirable but not essential
  • Ability to operate or willingness to learn how to use groundskeeping machinery (e.g. mowers, line markers)
  • Good physical fitness and ability to work in all weather conditions
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Working Hours

20 hours per week (flexible schedule, may include some weekends depending on pitch usage)
