Proactive currently have an exciting opportunity for a Quality Inspector to begin work for a leading manufacturing and production business in Thame. Due to rapid company expansion and an ever growing order book, our client is hoping to recruit at least one additional Quality Inspector to help ensure the quality and accuracy of the factory's function is well maintained throughout this new and excited influx of work.
Overview of the role:
- Carry out dimensional and cosmetic inspection of goods manufactured in-house or by the supply chain.
- Maintain daily inspection figures and reports.
- Complete AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports for goods manufactured in-house.
- Inspect and verify AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports submitted by the supply chain.
- Support in the identification and handling of non-conforming (NC) products.
- Ensure assigned tasks are completed on time to support customer schedules.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with customers, suppliers, and colleagues.
- Perform any other duties that may be required from time to time to support the business.
Basic Requirements and Qualifications:
- Previous experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret Engineering Drawings & Specifications.
- Experience in using handheld inspection equipment, rules, verniers etc. (Training will be provided if necessary).
- Keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Team player, enthusiastic with a positive 'can do' attitude.
- Ability to work under pressure, to multi-task & manage own time to meet required deadlines.
