We are looking for somebody to join our Unique Beginnings Team as a Baby Room Leader, working with children aged 1-2 years. Our preschool is a small and friendly setting with a strong focus on Forest School, outdoor learning and a calm, nurturing environment. Our ethos is rooted in a child led approach where children learn through exploration, curiosity and meaningful experiences.

We embrace heuristic play, natural resources, animal interactions and a Hygee inspired atmosphere that prioritises wellbeing and connection. This role is perfect for a passionate practitioner who enjoys working in a setting that does things a little differently, where muddy boots, outdoor adventures and real life learning are a part of everyday life.

You will take the lead in our baby room, creating a warm and secure environment where our youngest children can thrive. You will be confident in setting up and planning engaging daily activities, following children's interests and supporting their development through play. You will be responsible for recording observations and next steps using an online platform and feel comfortable leading small group times, simple circle times and the day to day running of the room.

Working Hours: This is a term time only, 38 weeks a year position with working hours of:

  • Monday: 9am - 5pm
  • Tuesday: 9am - 5pm
  • Wednesday: 8am - 3pm
  • Thursday: 8am - 3pm
  • Friday: 9am - 5pm
