Reporting to the Tenancy Manager, you will manage the tenancy progression process across Vertus Build to Rent developments, ensuring accurate, efficient administration and a consistently high level of customer service for applicants and residents.
Responsibilities
- Oversee tenancy progression from Offer Agreed to Move In, maintaining accuracy and impeccable service levels.
- Initiate and monitor referencing for all new tenancies, ensuring timeliness and quality checks meet internal criteria.
- Manage multiple tenancy pipelines simultaneously, prioritising tasks to meet deadlines.
- Compile, verify and submit KYC and AML documentation for clients in line with legislation and internal standards.
- Act as the main point of contact for prospective residents during the tenancy progression process, answering queries clearly and efficiently.
- Take ownership of data entry and records for new tenancies, ensuring accuracy and completeness, and assist with ad‑hoc data input tasks.
- Prepare draft tenancy agreements and invoices for approval.
- Maintain consistent communication with internal departments such as Property Management and Front of House to support an excellent customer experience.
- Handle logistical aspects of new tenancies, including Right to Rent checks, inventories, key collection, and the delivery of pre‑tenancy compliance documents (EPCs, EICRS, How to Rent Guides, Tenancy Deposit Certificates, Prescribed Information).
- Complete and submit the File Sign Off documentation for each new move‑in within a timely manner, reporting to senior management on a weekly basis.
- Carry out any other reasonable duties as requested from time to time.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in tenancy progression or lettings.
- ARLA Level 3 qualification is desirable.
- Good telephone manner and excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to multi‑task and cope well under pressure.
