Due to continued growth, we are seeking experienced Team Leaders to join our Polegate-based teams, leading de-vegetation and arboricultural operations across highways, infrastructure and environmental projects. This role is suited to someone who can lead from the front, manage teams effectively, and ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise teams carrying out de-vegetation and arboricultural works
  • Plan daily activities and allocate tasks to operatives
  • Ensure all works are carried out safely and in line with RAMS
  • Maintain high standards of quality and compliance on site
  • Liaise with supervisors, clients and stakeholders where required
  • Monitor productivity and ensure programme targets are met
  • Carry out site checks and support audits where necessary

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Previous Team Leader or supervisory experience
  • Strong understanding of health and safety practices
  • Good communication and leadership skills
  • Self motivated with strong attention to detail
  • Reliable, punctual and professional
  • Full UK driving licence
  • CS30/31 Chipper and strimmer tickets
  • Relevant industry experience
  • CS38/39 or equivalent
  • SSSTS
  • MEWP certification
  • Chapter 8 signing, lighting and guarding
