Responsibilities

  • Lead shifts with a focus on commercial results, ensuring every partner is set up for success.
  • Take ownership of KPIs, including labour efficiency, waste reduction, and sales performance.
  • Plan and adjust shift deployment to optimise the customer experience.
  • Observe partner performance, coach, provide feedback, and celebrate achievements.
  • Act as the store’s duty manager when scheduled, making all operational decisions during the shift.
  • Maintain consistent brand and operational standards, exceeding expectations when possible.
  • Use financial and operational data to make informed decisions that improve shift performance.
  • Train and coach partners to deliver consistent quality, efficiency, and service excellence.
  • Lead and embed new initiatives and product launches at the store level.
  • Maintain compliance with health & safety, food safety, and security standards.
  • Work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience leading a team in a dynamic, fast‑paced and customer‑focused retail or hospitality environment.
  • Commercial acumen with the ability to translate metrics into actionable results.
  • Strong people‑management skills and a growth mindset.
  • Confidence in managing both people and operational priorities.
