Across the group, we operate in areas including hydrogen, transport, energy infrastructure and clean technology. With multiple operating companies, the environment is varied and often complex, giving you exposure to different teams, challenges and ways of working.
The role: This is a hands-on role delivering end-to-end recruitment across HydraB Group companies. You'll work closely with hiring managers to attract and secure high-quality talent, while also supporting early careers hiring and building future talent pipelines. Alongside delivery, you'll be involved in improving processes, supporting hiring governance and helping bring more consistency to how we recruit across the group.
What you’ll be doing:
- Managing end-to-end recruitment (briefing, sourcing, screening, interviews, offers and onboarding handover)
- Partnering closely with hiring managers to understand requirements and deliver against timelines
- Proactively sourcing candidates using LinkedIn, networks and direct approaches
- Supporting and developing early careers hiring (graduates, entry level roles and pipeline building)
- Ensuring a strong candidate experience with clear communication and timely feedback
- Managing multiple roles at once, prioritising effectively
- Working with agencies where needed, ensuring clear briefs and consistent engagement
- Maintaining accurate recruitment data and supporting reporting (time to hire, pipeline etc.)
- Supporting process improvements, projects and employer branding activity
What we’re looking for:
- 3+ years' experience in Talent Acquisition (in house or RPO)
- Comfortable managing end-to-end recruitment across a range of roles
- Proactive, takes ownership and builds momentum
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Able to work at pace and manage shifting priorities
- Well organised with strong attention to detail
- Agency experience helpful but not essential
- Experience in early careers hiring or building pipelines is a plus
What you’ll get from the role:
- Exposure to a wide range of hiring across multiple businesses
- Opportunity to build capability in early careers and pipeline development
- Involvement in improving recruitment processes and governance
- A hands-on role with real ownership and visibility across the business
Benefits include:
- 25 days holiday + bank holidays
- Private Medical Insurance (BUPA)
- Discretionary bonus
- Pension (matched up to 8%)
- 2x salary Life Assurance
- Income Protection (70% salary after 13 weeks)
- Employee Assistance Programme
- Electric car scheme & cycle to work
- Option to buy/sell up to 5 days leave
- Retail and lifestyle discounts
This role would suit someone who enjoys working at pace, takes ownership of their roles, and wants to build broader experience across experienced hiring and early careers.
