Location: Primarily based at Symmetry Park SN3, with occasional cover required at Penzance Drive SW1

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Weekend Breakfast Chef to support food preparation and service within a busy operational environment. This role is ideal for someone with food hygiene qualifications who is comfortable working independently at times while maintaining high standards of food safety and service.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve food in line with food hygiene and safety standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen environment
  • Ensure all food handling complies with relevant food safety regulations
  • Support daily catering operations during weekend shifts
  • Manage duties independently when required, particularly when the kitchen operates separately from the wider team
  • Assist with stock handling and general kitchen upkeep

Working Hours

Saturday and Sunday only
07:00am - 12:00pm (5 hours per day)
Additional hours may be available for holiday cover or business needs.

Pay & Benefits

£13.45 per hour (PAYE)

Requirements

  • Valid Food Hygiene Level 2 qualification (essential)
  • Previous experience in a catering, kitchen, or food service role preferred
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Strong attention to cleanliness and food safety
  • Reliable, punctual, and flexible

Working Environment

While this is not strictly a lone working role, there may be times when you are working independently in the kitchen while the warehouse remains operational.
