A great opportunity to join this independent, family-owned and family-run estate agency with two branches who have built their reputation on honest advice, personal service and an intimate knowledge of the local property market. As a family business, they value long term relationships - with clients, vendors, and the people who work with them. This is a rare opportunity to join their leadership team, taking ownership of their Eynsham branch and building on the strong foundations already in place.

They are looking for a driven and capable Estate Agent Branch Manager to lead their Eynsham office, which focuses exclusively on residential sales. This is an ideal next step for an experienced residential valuer who is ready to take their first management role and make it their own. You will take full responsibility for the day to day running of the branch, leading a small team, driving sales performance and ensuring every client - vendor and buyer alike - receives the outstanding level of service that defines their reputation across West Oxfordshire.

As part of a two branch family business, flexibility is at the heart of how they operate. There will be occasions where you are asked to support their Witney branch - whether covering valuations, assisting with staffing or lending your expertise during busy periods. They are one team across two offices, and a collaborative, can do attitude is essential to making that work well.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the day to day operations of the Eynsham branch, ensuring the office runs efficiently and professionally.
  • Lead, motivate and develop the branch team, setting clear expectations and supporting individual and branch growth.
  • Foster a positive, high performance culture that reflects their family business and core values.
  • Act as the face of the branch within the local community, building relationships with vendors, buyers and local stakeholders.
  • Support their Witney branch as required by the needs of the business, including cross cover for valuations, viewings or staffing at the direction of the Head of Sales.
Sales Performance
  • Drive branch sales performance against agreed targets set by the Head of Sales.
  • Grow the office market share against agreed targets set by the Head of Sales.
  • Monitor pipeline, conversion rates and market share, taking proactive steps to improve results.
  • Oversee the sales progression process from agreed sale through to exchange and completion, ensuring smooth transactions and minimal fall throughs.
  • Work closely with the Head of Sales to report on branch performance and implement strategic initiatives.
Valuations & Instructions
  • Carry out residential sales valuations and convert appraisals to instructions.
  • Maintain a strong presence in the local market, identifying new business opportunities and building the branch's profile.
  • Ensure accurate and competitive pricing to achieve the best outcome for vendors while maintaining healthy sales volumes.
Client Experience
  • Ensure every client interaction - at all stages of the sales process - reflects their commitment to honest, personal service.
  • Handle escalated queries or complaints with professionalism and a solutions focused approach.
  • Maintain high standards of communication with vendors and buyers throughout the sales journey.
About You - Essential
  • Proven experience as a residential valuer with a strong track record of winning instructions and achieving sales.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the residential sales process, from market appraisal through to completion.
  • A natural communicator with the confidence to deal with vendors, buyers and solicitors at all levels.
  • Commercially minded with the ability to interpret performance data and drive improvements.
  • A genuine passion for property and the local West Oxfordshire market.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Willingness to support the Witney branch as business needs require, including occasional cross branch cover.
Desirable
  • Previous experience in a branch manager, deputy manager or team leader capacity.
  • Familiarity with the Eynsham, Witney and wider West Oxfordshire property market.
  • NAEA qualification or working towards it.
  • Experience using estate agency CRM and property portal software.
What They Offer
  • You will become part of a close knit team where your contribution is genuinely valued.
  • As a family business, they take a long term view - they invest in their people and offer a working environment where you have real autonomy and the opportunity to shape the branch.
  • Competitive base salary with an uncapped commission structure within a growing independent agency.
  • Time of service benefits.
  • Access to salary sacrifice vehicle scheme.
  • Genuine autonomy to run the branch as your own, with the support of experienced family ownership behind you.
  • A friendly, collaborative working environment with low staff turnover.
  • Local community roots and a brand people genuinely trust.
