EF (Education First) Manchester International Language Campus is seeking enthusiastic and outgoing individuals to join our Activities & Events Team as Activity Leaders for summer 2026. In this role, you will organize and lead activities, events and excursions, creating an unforgettable experience for international students.

Part-time Flexible hours, 7 days a week. Typically 20-30 hours per week. Dates available between May - August 2026. Every day is different - from city trips, to themed parties and interactive games. You'll play a key part in helping students feel welcome, confident and connected, while also developing your own leadership and communication skills in a fun and multicultural environment. It's a highly rewarding role that allows you to make a real impact on students' lives while enjoying a memorable and fulfilling summer yourself. Responsibilities:

  • Leads groups of international students on a variety of activities, events, ceremonies and day trips.
  • Creates a lively atmosphere throughout the site and during excursions, all while delivering excellent customer service.
  • Helps students break cultural barriers and build friendships by facilitating activities that get them speaking English, sharing their cultures and learning from one another.
  • Takes responsibility for health, safety and well-being of all students, including completing and adhering to risk assessments and emergency situations in line with EF policy and procedures.
  • Liaises with co-leaders, Activities and Events Coordinator & Manager to discuss how to improve future activities, events, ceremonies and day trips.
  • Ensures the EF behaviour code is always followed by all students and informs the management immediately if there are any issues or problems.
  • Supports with local EF social media accounts - filming and editing content (optional).

Requirements:

  • Highly motivated, energetic and positive with a sociable and outgoing personality.
  • Confident in leading and managing groups of students.
  • Highly organised and thorough, able to use initiative and work unsupervised.
  • Ability to handle difficult situations with ease and remain calm under pressure.
  • Appreciation of cultural differences and sensitive to the needs of international students.
  • A flexible approach to work and hours of work undertaken is essential.
  • Is a trained First Aider (preferable but not essential).
  • All offers are subject to a clear enhanced DBS check and two references.
  • Right to work in the UK on commencement of employment.
