BDO – a leading accountancy and business advisory firm – seeks a Transaction Taxes Director based in the Thames Valley. The role involves leading a range of transaction tax due diligence and structuring work for private equity houses and acquisitive corporates.
Responsibilities
- Lead tax due diligence and tax structuring projects, working closely with VAT, employment tax specialists and Transaction Services.
- Develop and maintain a network of contacts internally and externally to win work and cross‑sell.
- Manage project risks, ensuring high‑quality delivery and a strong client experience.
- Provide input into legal documents and forecast models.
- Co‑ordinate coaching and development of junior staff.
- Contribute to key transaction relationship development and wider strategy.
- Identify and convert opportunities for expanding services to existing clients.
Qualifications
- In‑depth, up‑to‑date knowledge of taxation with specialist expertise in complex transaction issues.
- Demonstrable transaction experience, project and people management experience.
- Ability to develop client relationships and identify opportunities for service expansion.
- Experience dealing with client senior management and stakeholders such as legal advisers.
- CTA and/or ACA qualified or equivalent.
