We have an opportunity for a Studio Manager, or Senior Artworker / Retoucher, to join a highly successful printing company. We are looking for candidates who can take initiative, be a confident decision maker, and take an accurate and methodological approach to all projects in hand. You will show excellent organisational skills along with the ability to prioritise work. Applicants must have a wealth of experience in artwork, repro and retouching.
The primary purpose of the role is to ensure the studio has adequate resources to carry out its work and that the work it takes on is realistic and manageable within the available resources. He or she must manage and oversee people, equipment, workflow and quality assurance. The recruitment of staff and freelancers will also play a key part in this role, providing any induction they may need. We are looking for someone with exemplary management skills, who can ensure roles, skills and procedures are optimised and used to best effect, maximising the efficiency of the studio and the quality of its services.
