You will be working as a Senior Asbestos Surveyor and Analyst to undertake surveys and airborne fibre monitoring and analysis within industrial, commercial and domestic properties. You will follow our UKAS quality standards and ensure you comply with current legislation whilst working in the field. Servicing clients across the North, you will also be expected to attend meetings, appraisals and training sessions in our Manchester office.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct asbestos surveys across a variety of properties, including domestic, commercial, and industrial buildings.
- Mentor assistant asbestos surveyors, providing guidance and support.
- Carry out 4-stage clearances and other air tests (backgrounds, leaks, reassurance, and personal air monitoring) at sites throughout the South.
- Ensure high quality documentation, completing all files and paperwork in line with AEC UKAS procedures.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with co-workers, supervisors, and clients.
- Uphold professional standards in attendance, punctuality, appearance, and adherence to health & safety protocols.
Requirements & Experience
- P402, P403, and P404 qualifications are required.
- Proven experience in a similar role.
- Knowledge and understanding of the HSG 248 Analyst Guide principles.
- Flexibility to work weekends, nights, and travel as needed.
- Excellent communication skills for liaising with clients and colleagues at all levels.
- Full UK driving licence is essential.
