Due to the exciting growth of Corin, we are looking for a practical and reliable Facilities Maintenance Assistant to support our Facilities & Maintenance team at our Cirencester site. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with general maintenance experience who enjoys a varied, hands-on role and takes pride in maintaining a safe, tidy and professional working environment.

Reporting to the Facilities & Maintenance Coordinator, you will carry out a range of minor facilities and maintenance tasks, allowing our specialist maintenance teams to focus on critical production and operational support activities.

Hours: 22.5 hours per week
Working Pattern: 3 days per week 07:30 - 16:30 (Monday - Friday) days to be agreed
Salary: £14,724.00 per annum

Responsibilities:

  • Painting and decorating duties
  • Minor carpentry repairs, including door handles, door closers and fixtures
  • Building and assembling furniture
  • Moving and relocating office and factory furniture
  • Basic plumbing repairs and maintenance
  • General site upkeep and maintenance tasks
  • Gardening duties, including grass cutting, hedge trimming and weeding
  • Ensuring all work areas are left clean, tidy and safe
  • Following all Corin Health, Safety and Environmental policies and procedures
  • Working in a way that minimises disruption to production and operational activities

We're looking for someone who is practical, self-motivated and able to work independently to complete general maintenance tasks.

Ideal experience:

  • General building maintenance
  • Painting and decorating
  • Basic plumbing
  • Gardening and grounds maintenance
  • Manual handling, including lifting and carrying materials and equipment

Advantageous skills:

  • Full UK driving licence
  • MEWP (Mobile Elevated Work Platform) licence
