We are currently recruiting for a Part‑time Food & Beverage Assistant at Ettington Park Hotel, part of Hand Picked Hotels. The only AA 4 Red Star hotel in Stratford‑upon‑Avon, Ettington Park is renowned as one of the finest hotels in Warwickshire. Set within 40 acres of luscious parkland in a verdant valley with the river Stour meandering through it, the spectacular country house boasts 47 characterful bedrooms and the finest seasonal cuisine served in its 2AA Rosette restaurant.

The role of a Food and Beverage Assistant involves preparing food and beverage service areas to Hand Picked Hotels standards ensuring high standards of presentation are always maintained. You will be expected to hold a good level of knowledge regarding food menu items and availability, including main ingredients, allergens and preparation style. You should be able to offer accurate and enticing product descriptions with recommendations based on guest preferences, working enthusiastically alongside team members to achieve departmental goals. As a Food and Beverage Assistant, you will be expected to maintain a basic knowledge of the wine list and stock availability, understanding the basic principles of food and wine matching, different grape varieties and predominant flavours. Most of all, we want you to be inspired, have fun and enjoy being part of our Hand Picked Team.

To be considered for this role, you will have current base knowledge and experience of food and beverage within a quality driven hotel, restaurant, or hospitality environment. You will be enthusiastic and willing to take on new responsibilities, adopting a flexible approach to assist in different areas of the hotel as business and guest needs dictate. Having a high level of emotional intelligence will enable you to anticipate our guests' needs, ensuring they receive a Hand Picked experience. It is essential you can demonstrate how you would deliver our guest experience standards at Hand Picked Hotels, which includes the ability to go above and beyond to ensure guests have a high-quality, personalised, and magical experience that they remember, recommend, and return to time and time again.
