We are looking for a highly organized and motivated person to join our dedicated Administration Team at our busy GP surgery. Job Responsibilities
- Managing and maintaining accurate patient medical records, ensuring all information is updated, filed, and handled confidentially.
- Processing blood test queries and pathology‑related tasks, including reviewing workflow requests, liaising with clinicians, and ensuring timely follow‑up actions.
- Supporting gynaecology‑related administrative workflows, including referrals, recalls, screening programmes, appointment coordination, and follow‑up correspondence.
- Handling notifications of births and deaths with sensitivity and accuracy, ensuring patient records and associated systems are updated appropriately.
- Processing medical reports, insurance forms, SAR requests, and other medico‑legal documentation within agreed timescales and confidentiality standards.
- Managing a high volume of incoming surgery emails, prioritising urgent requests, directing correspondence to the appropriate teams, and ensuring efficient communication across the practice.
- Processing patient registrations, deductions, and record transfers, ensuring demographic information is accurate and registrations are completed in line with NHS procedures.
- Scanning, uploading, and coding clinical documents onto patient records accurately and efficiently using the clinical system.
- Providing administrative support for care home patients, including coordinating documentation, communication, and clinical workflows with care homes and external healthcare providers.
