Due to expansion of our nursery, Shooting Stars Stourbridge is excited to welcome a new Early Years Nursery Practitioner to our friendly and supportive team. About the Role

As an Early Years Nursery Practitioner, you play an important role in supporting children's learning, development and wellbeing through engaging, child-led experiences. You will help create a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment where every child feels valued, supported and inspired to learn.

What We Are Looking For

  • Level 3 Early Years qualification (full and relevant) - Level 2 may also be considered
  • Experience working within a nursery or early years setting
  • Good understanding of the EYFS framework and inclusive practice, including SEND support
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures
  • A positive, reliable and nurturing team player with a genuine passion for childcare and early years education

Your Responsibilities

  • Acting as a Key Person and building strong relationships with children and families
  • Planning and supporting fun, engaging and age-appropriate learning experiences
  • Creating a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment for all children
  • Supporting children's learning and development through play and exploration
  • Building positive partnerships with parents and carers
  • Contributing to observations, planning and high-quality nursery practice
