Key Responsibilities
- Customer & Commercial Performance: Treat the store as your own business, constantly seeking innovative ways to improve the commercial offering, drive sales, and manage costs effectively. Lead your team to deliver exceptional customer service, challenging the norm and thinking of new ways to make the customer experience the best in the market, in line with the Morrisons brand promise.
- Team Leadership & Development: Oversee all people activities; from recruitment and induction to training and ongoing development. Build and champion an inclusive culture where every colleague is motivated, empowered, and equipped to deliver outstanding service and achieve their full potential.
- Operational Excellence: Ensure all operational procedures, health and safety, and compliance standards are rigorously met, maintaining an attractive, safe, and efficient shopping environment. This role requires flexibility, including early mornings, late nights, and weekend work.
- Community Engagement: Build strong, positive relationships within the local community, understanding the vital role your store plays and actively seeking ways to offer support.
