We're looking for a HR Generalist who has experience of core activities like discipline/grievances, absence & performance management, recruitment, as well as supporting business growth through broader activities such as colleague engagement and supporting managers.

What will truly differentiate you is your commitment to developing people and capability across the business. You'll bring a passion for developing colleagues - from operational teams through to management development. Ideally, you can bring a range of practical tools and frameworks to help managers build capability, strengthen succession plans, and develop future leaders.

You'll have a commercial mindset combined with a coaching style, enabling you to build strong relationships with your assigned business areas. Using both management information and your emotional intelligence, you'll confidently influence, guide and support leaders to deliver against our growth ambitions.

You'll be a key part of the HR team, working with world class scientists across a range of fields, working on anything from moon dust to microbiology - you'll be hard pressed to find this breadth of activities in any other organisation.

Ideally, you'll have CIPD level 5 or equivalent experience and a science or business degree would be advantageous.

In return, we offer a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package, including 25 days' holiday and private medical insurance. The role is site based at our Stone office with regular travel to Stoke, so would ideally suit someone with a driving license.
