Edward Mellor Auction are looking for an ambitious, commercially driven Business Development & Partnerships Manager to identify, develop and grow strategic partnerships that generate revenue, strengthen our market position and enhance the customer experience. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives on building relationships, spotting opportunities and turning ideas into measurable commercial success.

Working closely with Senior Leadership and key stakeholders, you'll play a pivotal role in driving business growth through strategic partnerships and new revenue streams.

What you will be doing:

  • Identifying and securing new commercial partnerships and revenue opportunities.
  • Building and managing a strong pipeline of prospective partners.
  • Developing strategic relationships with industry contacts, suppliers, technology providers and professional organisations.
  • Negotiating partnership agreements and delivering mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to successfully launch and maximise partnership opportunities.
  • Managing partnerships from initial discussions through to implementation and ongoing performance.
  • Tracking performance, ROI and growth against agreed targets and KPIs.

  • Proven experience in business development, partnerships, account management or a commercial role.
  • A track record of delivering revenue growth and building successful business relationships.
  • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify and evaluate opportunities.
  • Excellent communication, networking and stakeholder management skills.
  • A confident negotiator who can influence and build credibility at all levels.
  • Highly organised, proactive and results-focused.
  • Experience using CRM systems and managing pipelines is advantageous.
