About the role
As our new Stock and Multichannel Team Manager, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the seamless operations of both stock management and multichannel services, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and exceptional service. This role manages the end‑to‑end flow of stock, from receipt and storage to order processing and dispatch, while maintaining compliance with company standards and supporting sustainable cost management. Strong organisational, leadership, and problem‑solving skills are essential, alongside the ability to foster a high‑performing, collaborative culture that supports both store efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Team Support
- Maximising team performance through effective people management and development.
- Coordinating daily operational activities, distributing tasks, and managing schedules.
- Conducting regular performance reviews, providing feedback, and supporting onboarding.
- Identifying team potential, encouraging knowledge sharing, and fostering engagement.
- Ensuring compliance with company standards and collaborating with HR when needed.
Retail Operations
- Implementing KPIs, guidelines, and procedures from Store Management and Head Office.
- Overseeing goods receipt, storage, transfers, and returns in line with company standards.
- Monitoring stock integrity, reporting discrepancies, and managing damaged or irregular items.
- Maintaining strong knowledge of operational systems and tools.
Multichannel Operations
- Managing order picking, packing, and dispatch to meet service KPIs.
- Processing returns and nil pick orders accurately and promptly.
- Maintaining organised workstations and ensuring equipment readiness.
- Collaborating with relevant teams to resolve issues and ensuring timely courier collections.
Store Maintenance
- Keeping stockrooms and related areas organised and well‑maintained.
- Supporting VM fixture moves and ensuring accurate stock organisation.
- Reviewing non‑sellable stock and coordinating next steps with Sales Managers.
Stock & Inventory
- Assisting with stock takes, cycle counts, and markdown activities.
- Investigating discrepancies and maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Coordinating reticketing and optimising stockroom capacity.
Budget & Cost Management
- Monitoring packaging and stationery usage, avoiding over‑ordering.
- Promoting sustainable practices and energy‑saving measures.
