Park Terrace Medical Practice is looking to recruit a part time medical receptionist who is friendly, keen and flexible to join our lovely team. Applicants must be enthusiastic, self motivated and be able to work in a fast paced environment. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, experience in dealing face to face with the general public and be computer literate. A team player with a flexible approach to work is essential, as is the ability to prioritise your workload around the demands of a busy reception area.
Responsibilities:
- Dealing carefully and sensitively with patients at Reception and on the telephone
- Making appointments
- Result handling
- Dealing with general enquiries
- Processing repeat prescription requests
- Scanning clinical correspondence
- Dealing with delegated tasks from clinical staff and general administration
Experience working within a customer or patient facing setting is essential. Salary dependent on experience.
Schedule:
Days and Hours Required: Monday, Wednesday and Friday 8am-5pm. Flexibility is important to help cover annual leave and absence within the team.
