We are looking for a passionate and engaging Delivery Lead to work directly with young people at risk of exclusion or facing significant challenges within education. Using sport as a hook and mentoring as an anchor, you will deliver sports based interventions, mentoring, and workshops in schools, alternative provisions, and community settings. Sessions focus on developing life skills, wellbeing, confidence, aspirations, and positive futures for young people.

Alongside delivery, you will help coordinate programmes, maintain strong relationships with schools and partners, support holiday and enrichment activities, and ensure safeguarding and reporting processes are followed consistently.

  • Deliver engaging sports based sessions, mentoring, and workshops
  • Build trusted relationships with young people and act as a positive role model
  • Adapt sessions to meet the needs of different groups and individuals
  • Support young people to develop confidence, resilience, and life skills
  • Work closely with schools, alternative provisions, and community partners
  • Support the delivery of holiday programmes, career taster days, and events
  • Ensure safeguarding, behaviour management, and reporting processes are followed
  • Accurately record programme data and outcomes using our systems

About You

  • Has experience working with young people, particularly those facing barriers or exclusion
  • Is confident delivering sports, mentoring, youth work, or similar interventions
  • Can build positive and trusted relationships with young people
  • Has a strong understanding of the challenges young people face today
  • Is organised, proactive, and able to work independently
  • Shares our passion for supporting young people to achieve positive outcomes
  • Level 2 qualification in Sports Coaching, Youth Work, or similar
  • Experience working within schools, alternative provision, or community settings
  • Full UK driving licence and access to transport
  • Ability to travel daily across Luton and Stevenage
  • Flexibility to work up to two evenings per week until 7pm
