We are seeking to recruit a part-time Facilities Assistant (cleaner) to join our team at St Anne's Centre, 729 The Ridge, St Leonards On Sea, East Sussex, TN37 7PT. This is a part-time position averaging 22.5 hours per week on a fortnightly working pattern.
Week 1: Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday early shift for 7.5 hours per day, 30 hours in week 1. Week 2: Thursday, Friday early shift for 7.5 hours per day, 15 hours in week 2.

Main duties of the job
We are looking for self-motivated individuals who can work equally well on their own or as part of a team, to deliver and achieve high standards of environmental cleaning and prepare meals for service. We are looking for people who recognise the importance of a clean environment and food safety, as well as the importance of adherence to infection prevention and control standards at all times.
To protect the health and safety of our staff/workers, patients, and those attending our sites, we encourage our workforce to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

Job responsibilities
- Vacuum cleaning
- Damp mopping of floors
- Damp dusting of furniture/fittings
- Cleaning of mirrors and internal glass
- Sanitary ware (e.g. baths, showers, sinks, toilets)
- Washing of tiled surfaces and paintwork
- High dusting of walls and ceilings
- Floor cleaning
- Food handling to support the provision of a meal service for patients in our care
Full training will be provided for the successful candidate.
