Key Responsibilities
- Learn the lifeguard ropes, including pool safety and first aid.
- Keep an eye on swimmers, respond quickly to incidents, and ensure a safe, fun environment.
- Provide excellent customer service, assisting guests with inquiries and concerns.
Requirements
- Previous lifeguard experience is valued but not essential; training will be provided.
- Ready to learn, stay alert, and respond confidently in any situation.
- Friendly and approachable attitude with good communication skills.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Proficient in swimming
- Jump/dive into deep water.
- Swim 50 metres in less than 60 seconds.
- Swim 100 metres continuously on front and back in deep water.
- Tread water for 30 seconds.
- Surface dive to the floor of the pool.
- Climb out unaided without a ladder or steps where the pool design permits.
- Undergo and satisfactorily complete an Enhanced DBS check prior to starting work.
