As part of our woodland restoration project, you'll play a hands-on role in caring for natural habitats - from scrub clearance and dead hedge building to installing bird and bat boxes that support thriving wildlife. You'll join a friendly and dedicated team working to create healthier, more resilient woodland spaces for future generations. No specialist experience is needed - just an interest in conservation, a willingness to get stuck in, and readiness to work in all weathers. About the Role
This rewarding opportunity involves supporting woodland restoration efforts as part of our ecological improvement work. Volunteers will help increase biodiversity by opening up woodland areas, creating habitats for animals and insects, and assisting with practical conservation tasks. You’ll be part of an energetic team with guidance from a Senior Project Officer, gaining outdoor experience while contributing to meaningful environmental change. Sessions take place on Wednesdays.
