The Team

Our Corporate & Commercial team work across all sectors on a variety of corporate transactions and corporate matters that are non transactional in nature. They advise UK and international clients from fast growing start ups/scale ups to listed companies. Many of the team have come from large city firms and while the quality of work is comparable the culture and ethos within the team is friendly and collegiate.

The Opportunity

The role will involve assisting and advising on all aspects of company law, private company mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions and MBOs and MBIs, joint ventures and investor/shareholders' agreements, articles of association and other constitutional documents, demergers, company reconstructions and reorganisations. Additionally there is the opportunity to be involved with AIM flotations, takeovers and other public company work, commercial lending and security, financing and refinancing of businesses. The corporate team acts for acquirers, private equity and VCT funds, founders/sellers, management teams and funders. Historically, the team has been involved in the more prominent deals in the Solent and Thames Valley region. The role would suit a candidate relocating to the region, an ambitious practitioner looking to move laterally from a national/large regional firm or an able candidate looking to work for a larger firm doing larger transactions.

  • Admissions to the Solicitor Roll
  • 2:1 Degree or higher preferred
  • Candidates should have between 1 to 3 years PQE of working in a corporate team
  • We are seeking applicants who are confident in dealing with the full range of corporate processes
