With numerous homes in Southall being quite old, many people are confronted with broken or failing housing components and limited financial means or the technical experience to remedy the situation. They are seeking a new team member with skills in various construction trades and a diaconal heart to serve through this much‑needed mercy ministry.

Responsibilities

  • Have a heart for teaching and training - a willingness to share and impart knowledge and skills
  • Support New Life Masih Ghar Church and team ministries in various capacities
  • Participate in regular team life: team meetings, outreach, church meetings, etc

Requirements and Critical Qualities

  • Previous experience and/or certification in a various construction trade (carpentry, electrical, plumbing, etc) for 5+ years
  • Culturally sensitive and a good listener
  • A deep love for Christ and His church
  • Team player with a teachable spirit

As a partner in ministry with New Life Masih Ghar Church, full and active participation in church is a necessity. The person in this role raises their full financial support for salary, ministry expenses, and benefits. When you are appointed to go with Serge, you are assigned a support coach who will guide you step‑by‑step through the entire support‑raising process.
