We are seeking a motivated and committed Salaried GP to join our well-established practice near South Shields, working across two nearby sites within a large and supportive primary care organisation with multiple practices across the North East.

The Role

  • 4 sessions per week (Monday & Wednesday or Friday)
  • List size of circa 7,500 patients
  • Single practice team working across two buildings - same patients, same staff, cohesive working environment
  • One on-call day and one standard clinical day per week

Clinical Responsibilities

  • Up to 25 patient contacts per standard clinic day (face-to-face and telephone)
  • Protected time allocated for administration and referrals
  • Home visits typically managed by experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioners (ANPs), with GP involvement where clinically appropriate
  • Shared on-call responsibilities, supported by ANPs who also contribute to the rota

Team & Support

  • You will be joining a highly collaborative multidisciplinary team including GPs, ANPs, pharmacists, nurses, and HCAs.
  • Weekly multidisciplinary clinical meetings for shared learning and case discussions
  • Strong ANP support, including involvement in palliative care and advance care planning

Salary & Benefits

  • Starting from £10,500 per session for newly qualified GPs
  • Salary negotiable depending on experience
  • Tier 2 visa sponsorship available
