A well-established small animal practice in central London is seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join its growing and supportive team on a full time basis. The facilities are modern, purpose built, and designed to a high standard, featuring a wide range of advanced equipment. This includes digital X ray, ultrasound, an in house laboratory, blood pressure monitoring, dental equipment for multiple species, tonometry, cautery and suction systems, dental X ray, and a high spec ultrasound machine with multiple probes, supporting a high level of clinical care.
Job Overview
The role is suited to a Veterinary Surgeon with at least 18 months of experience who is confident in routine surgical procedures. Strong communication skills and a genuine enthusiasm for the profession are essential, along with a desire to continue developing clinically while working collaboratively within a like minded team. The successful candidate would join a well structured team consisting of four vets, a skilled nursing team, client care advisors, and a practice manager, all focused on delivering excellent care to both patients and clients. This is a full time position based on a 40 hour working week, including one in four Saturdays, with no out of hours commitments, allowing for a healthy work-life balance.
