HiStory Hospitality are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Sommelier to join the team within a five-star country house hotel environment.

Sommelier Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Sommelier or Senior Wine Waiter in a luxury hotel, fine dining or Michelin/3+ Rosette environment
  • Strong knowledge of classic and emerging wine regions, producers and vintages
  • Confidence in delivering professional, engaging and guest-focused wine service
  • Experience with wine pairing, upselling and cellar organisation
  • Ability to work closely with the kitchen and front of house team to create a seamless guest experience
  • Competent in stock control, ordering, GP management and maintaining accurate wine lists
  • WSET qualification (Level 2 minimum, Level 3 or above preferred) or equivalent
  • Warm, personable and professional with excellent attention to detail
  • A genuine passion for wine, service and continuous learning
  • The desire to develop your career within an ambitious and growing restaurant group
