To be considered for this role, you must hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Please note: we are unable to offer sponsorship for this role.

Pay: £13.25 - £13.80 per hour, based on experience (40 hours per week).

Working Hours: Part time 2-3 days, hours per week, 9 hour shifts between 7:30-5:30 or 8:00-6:00.

The Old Station Nursery Taplow is a premium nursery offering three extra learning enhancements; these are Organic growing, Cookery and Language lessons. Inside the nursery, each room is designed to include age appropriate resources and equipment, to encourage skill building and development. Outside, the beautiful outdoor space encourages the children to explore and develop in a natural environment.

What Your Role Involves

  • Create a warm, fun, and nurturing environment where children feel safe and thrive.
  • Plan and deliver engaging, play based activities aligned with the EYFS framework.
  • Build meaningful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Monitor and celebrate children's development milestones, keeping records to share with parents.
  • Support the day to day running of the nursery, maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and care.
  • Be a team player, offering guidance to apprentices and volunteers while learning from others.
