The day-to-day inspection of Health & Safety, Quality control and Environmental systems providing an evidence-based review of the compliance and ensuring standards are maintained as required - (ISO 9001, ISO 45001 & ISO 14001).

Main Responsibilities

  • Spot checking of the required inputs/outputs & documented information required to maintain the ISO systems.
  • Inspection of manufactured parts prior to release to downstream processes.
  • Inspection of completed systems prior to release to packing or customer.
  • Goods inward inspection.
  • Report on preventative action and continuous improvement opportunities across the ISO systems.
  • Report non-conformance activities to assist in the generation and completion of detailed non-conformance reports and corrective actions.
  • Verification of NCR resolution to agreed timescales & targets.
  • Provide support to new process development & product improvement activities.

Main Tasks

  • In process Health & Safety, Quality & Environmental inspection at all levels. (Design, Fabrication, Paint, Assembly, Testing & Materials control)
  • Various other compliance checks across the ISO system.
  • Other tasks as requested by the Guyson Business.

Knowledge and Skills Required

  • Knowledge and experience in manufacturing processes.
  • Knowledge and experience in manufacturing measuring instruments. (Vernier's, Micrometers, Bore gauges)
  • Knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Knowledge and experience in ISO Standards. (9001, 45001 & 14001)
  • Training will be provided as required.

This is a permanent position, subject to a 3-month trial period. Hours: 39 hours per week.
