The predicted salary is between 31650 - 37659 £ per year.

Part time, 15 hours per week-weekends (Saturday & Sunday). Location: Malden House, Sidmouth, Devon (EX10 9LR).

As an Activities Coordinator you will provide stimulating and meaningful activities for our residents. You will tailor these activities, taking into account individual skills, hobbies and interests, aiming to improve the quality of life while promoting privacy, dignity and independence at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create a happy and caring atmosphere, putting residents' needs first.
  • Provide a wide range of physical, social, emotional and psychological activities tailored to the individual.
  • Accompany residents to the local country fair.
  • Lead a chair exercise class.
  • Reminisce with a resident about their childhood holidays.
  • Engage in arts and crafts.

Skills & Experience

No previous experience is required as we provide full training. This role is suited to someone who enjoys leading and organising activities, is organised, sociable, active, loves bringing people together and demonstrates a flexible, hard working and caring attitude, with a desire to work as part of a dedicated team.
