An established and growing engineering business is seeking an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join its team. This role is ideal for a skilled professional with strong fault‑finding ability and experience across a wide range of systems, offering long‑term career progression within a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, service, and repair air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
- Respond to both planned maintenance and reactive breakdown callouts.
- Work across a variety of commercial and industrial systems, including air handling units and chillers.
- Interpret and utilise technical documentation to support fault finding and repairs.
- Use mobile/tablet‑based service management systems to record work and communicate updates.
- Participate in an out‑of‑hours call rota (1 in 4 weeks, paid accordingly).
- Deliver high levels of customer service while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience working as an Air Conditioning Engineer or similar role.
- Strong diagnostic and fault‑finding skills across a broad range of AC and refrigeration systems.
- Experience with refrigeration and/or chiller equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and documentation.
- Comfortable using mobile devices and service management applications.
- Customer‑focused approach with strong communication skills.
