As part of the highly skilled Asset Support Team, the Technician will work under the direction of the Site Technical Team Leader to provide proactive and reactive maintenance support within their area discipline. This is a hands‑on role in both planned maintenance and troubleshooting scenarios.
Responsibilities- Install, maintain and repair electrical components of machines and assets in the mill facility in accordance with the reliability strategy and site safety standards.
- Perform preventative, predictive and corrective maintenance on equipment associated with the production, packaging and distribution of Kimberly‑Clark products.
- Diagnose electrical faults, perform repairs, and troubleshoot issues in a changing technical environment, including networks and site infrastructure.
- Follow equipment isolation procedures and support the safety, mutual respect, and human dignity of the workplace.
- Minimum of four GCSEs, including Mathematics and English.
- NVQ Level 3 (Electrical) apprenticeship ideally, or equivalent.
- HNC or HND (or equivalent) in an Electrical Engineering discipline, or working towards it.
- Computer literacy skills.
- Committed and flexible approach to work.
- Strong awareness of safety practices.
- Experience with equipment isolation procedures.
- Proficiency in SAP is advantageous.
- Passionate about electrical fault finding, repairing and plant maintenance.
