We currently have opportunities for:
- Nights Only
- Full Rota - covering days, nights, weekends, and bank holidays.
- Bank Staff - Working on an ad-hoc basis.
What the role is really about:
This is more than just a job. It's about helping young people feel safe, supported, and listened to. Some days that might mean helping with cooking a meal, supporting with routines, having a chat after a difficult day, encouraging them with education or activities, or simply being a consistent person they can rely on. You'll be part of a supportive team creating a stable and caring home environment for children and young people aged 12-17. No two days are the same, but every day gives you the chance to make a positive impact.
Requirements:
- Hold or willing to work towards a Level 3 Children Residential Childcare qualification (or Equivalent).
- Experience working with children is an advantage.
- Caring and approachable.
- Calm under pressure.
- Able to build positive relationships.
- Reliable and flexible.
- Passionate about helping young people grow in confidence and independence.
- Having a full UK driver's license is an advantage for this role.
- Experience in care is helpful, but your attitude and values matter just as much.
