BV Dairy is a manufacturer of specialist dairy produce, established 1958 in Shaftesbury Dorset. In 2024 we joined the First Milk group – a British farmer‑owned dairy co‑operative. You can find our products in most supermarkets across the whole of the UK.
Responsibilities
- Day shift – Hours of work 06:00‑18:00, on 4 days on/4 days off, shift basis.
- Salary £29,440 per year.
- To produce a high volume of good quality products such as yogurts, kefirs, mascarpone cheese, etc.
- To follow all production plans to ensure orders are completed on time in full.
- To adhere to all technical requirements, operating procedure and health & safety policies.
- To assist in training other personnel to ensure they work efficiently and safely as applicable.
- To contribute to improvements in production processes to increase efficiencies, reduce waste, and improve quality.
- To work with the Production Management team by supporting the business in a flexible manner.
Qualifications
- Ideally experience in working in a production or manufacturing environment.
- Ability to understand food safety practices and health and safety; in‑house training will be provided.
- Food industry experience would be a plus.
- We expect you to be a good team player, have a positive attitude and a "can do" approach.
