What You'll Do
- Developing high-quality golang and eBPF code for the Cilium OSS/Enterprise and golang ebpf library, while following open source development principles and best practices
- Technical guidance and mentorship
- Active participation in the open-source community
- Possibility to speak at public conferences about achievements (if desired)
Minimum Qualifications
- Computer Science degree, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience with golang, C, and some eBPF knowledge
- Experience in Linux systems design and networking
- Experience with Kubernetes
- Experience in technical leadership roles
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Cilium K8s CNI
- 3+ years of experience writing eBPF programs
- Desire to write high quality and efficient code
- Previous experience in tech lead roles is a plus
- A public track record of open-source code commits is a plus
- Experience in public speaking at technical open source conferences is a plus
