Job Details:
- Permanent, 38 weeks term time only
- Monday - Friday (28.8 hours per week)
- Closing Date - 2nd
Responsibilities:
- Ensure and coordinate safe practice within the teaching labs
- Order all chemicals and apparatus, meeting representatives of the suppliers and telephone suppliers
- Assist lecturers by preparing equipment for lectures and ensuring such equipment is cleared away
- Undertake H&S duties and responsibilities as the science COSHH representative, working closely with the COSHH representative for the College
- Work collaboratively with academic teams to ensure courses run smoothly and effectively
Qualifications & Experience:
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English at grade C or above
- Past experience of working in a laboratory, either in an industrial environment or in education
- A real passion for creating positive learning experiences
