Our Children’s Residential Home is looking for a Senior Life Practitioner to join our team at an Apple Tree Bungalow in Swinderby, Lincoln.

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide essential support to individuals with severe learning disabilities and complex needs.
  • Assist them in daily activities and accompany them on community trips.
  • Transport people to community activities, such as shopping, meals, appointments, and outings, using a company vehicle.
  • Maintain a full UK driver’s licence and at least 2 years of driving experience in the UK.

Rates start at £13.99 per hour, increasing to £15.99 for those with experience. Level 1: £13.99; Level 2: £14.31; Level 3: £15.99. Opportunities to progress through our competency framework for higher hourly rates.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Passion for care and motivation to support others’ progression.
  • Strong team player and resilient with confidence to ask for help when needed.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Computer literacy.
  • A Level 3 in Children’s Residential Services or willingness to work towards it.
