We are inviting applications for a Senior Lecturer in Dental Hygiene who will lead the development of the first BSc (Hons) Dental Hygiene course to be delivered in the Three Counties Dental School – a new purpose‑built facility opening in 2027. The role offers a unique opportunity to shape, develop, and deliver innovative dental care education and support the transformation of dental education in the region, addressing a recognised workforce shortage.

You must hold a current General Dental Council (GDC) registration as a Dental Hygienist or Dental Therapist. The role requires an Enhanced DBS check. As a Senior Lecturer you are expected to have a Post Graduate Certificate in Education or must be actively working towards one.
Location & Working ArrangementsWhilst based at the City Campus, Gloucester, the role holder may be required to work at any University site or any other reasonable location where the University is undertaking its business.
