The role of the Human Resources Team is to provide a prompt, effective and efficient advisory HR service to staff and managers ensuring adherence to policies and legislation whilst ensuring service needs are met. The HR team are responsible for supporting and advising on all aspects of employment including managing sickness absence, disciplinary and grievance matters and are involved in organisational change and review. The team are also responsible for the provision of a recruitment and selection service and writing and reviewing HR policies to ensure best practice and compliance with legal requirements. The team also works closely with CPG's payroll providers in the implementation of the full range of payroll and pension services.
You must have experience of dealing with HR related issues, providing advice and guidance on employment related matters and of supervising staff. It is essential that you have knowledge of employment law, conditions of service, best practice and their interpretation/application and the ability to research as required. You must have effective organisational skills and the ability to understand complex information and be able to present this clearly and concisely.

Salary Range: £29,317 - £35,715 - You will be appointed on a fixed salary point.
