The Facilities Manager directs daily property management across a central London and Kent portfolio, leads a team of FM staff, and collaborates with stakeholders to deliver excellent customer service. This role represents MAPP within the local and regional real estate community and promotes the company's reputation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Directly manage the performance and operations of properties within the portfolio.
  • Line manage, mentor and develop a team of facility staff.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure high quality service delivery to clients and occupiers.
  • Represent MAPP in the local and regional business and real estate community.
  • Maintain and promote high standards of integrity and professionalism.
Skills, Knowledge & Values
  • IOSH certification; Member of IWFM.
  • Experience in building management and contractor management.
  • Strong time management, organisational and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in producing client and management reports.
  • Effective line management and mentoring abilities.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office suite.

Experience and Qualifications
  • Track record of FM in multi let office buildings.
  • Work across buildings of diverse ages and sizes; understanding of systems, equipment, technology and landlord services.
  • Experience in fit out and everyday occupation, responding to occupier needs.
  • Knowledge of health & safety, environmental and statutory regulations.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Experience with service charge budgeting and RICS codes.
  • Implementation of processes and procedures for team delivery.
  • Health & Safety certifications: IOSH/NEBOSH; IWFM membership.
Salary & Hours
  • Working Hours: 9am - 5:30pm Monday - Thursday; 9am - 5pm Friday
  • Salary Range: £55,000 - £60,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
