Key Responsibilities:
- Offering 1:1 and small group support to students with ASD and SEMH, helping them engage and succeed in their learning.
- Assisting in the development and implementation of personalised learning plans to meet the individual needs of students.
- Supporting students with behaviour management, using de-escalation strategies to promote positive outcomes.
- Encouraging students' social and emotional growth, fostering independence, confidence, and well-being.
- Collaborating with teachers, the SENCO, and external professionals to ensure effective, tailored support for each student.
- Contributing to the creation of a safe, structured, and inclusive environment that promotes both learning and personal development.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Experience working with children with ASD, SEMH, or other SEND needs (preferred but not essential).
- Strong understanding of behaviour management techniques and how to apply them effectively.
