We have a fantastic opportunity for a skilled and experienced Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering (Machinist) to join our Engineering department, where you will deliver both practical and theoretical sessions across a range of engineering units.
Your role will include:
- Deliver practical and theoretical teaching across machining, mechanical assembly, hand fitting and maintenance units.
- Support learners in understanding technical information, working safely and developing efficient working practices.
- Provide high quality, industry relevant training.

Essential Requirements
- Hold a Level 3 qualification in Mechanical Engineering
- Have experience in a relevant industry and/or educational setting
- Practical skills and theoretical knowledge of Mechanical Engineering, including use of a centre lathe and conventional vertical turret milling machine
- Hold GCSE A -C / 9-4 in English and Maths or equivalent
- An IQA qualification is desirable but not essential
