We have an exciting opportunity for a Workshop Technician to join a friendly, supportive, and positive Construction team. The role is varied with lots of opportunity to develop new skills and knowledge.

You will:

  • Prepare and maintain materials and equipment used by students in the workshops
  • Support the dismantling of work prepared by students to maintain operational status of the workshops
  • Carry out maintenance of workshops
  • Ensure adequate stock levels of materials are maintained
  • Implement appropriate Health and Safety systems
  • Support the instruction of learners in practical activity

As a Workshop Technician, you should be confident, well organised, and have specialist vocational skills in the Construction Industry.

You should:

  • Hold a Level 2 or equivalent qualification in a construction trade.
  • GCSE English and Maths A -C or equivalent
  • First Aid qualification, or willingness to achieve within six months
  • A wide range of experience gained within the Construction Industry
