Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of guest floors, public areas, and back of house areas, including perimeter checks, to maintain safety and security standards.
- Ensure all rooms, offices, and service areas are secure; identify and report any fire, health, or safety hazards.
- Respond to incidents and emergencies, including crimes and accidents, following proper procedures and completing accurate reports.
- Control access to the premises, monitor staff entrances, issue and manage ID cards and visitor passes, and prevent unauthorised entry.
- Investigate and document all incidents, accidents, and injuries involving guests, employees, or hotel property.
- Maintain accurate records of incidents, breaches, and security concerns, including updating the occurrence book and preparing formal reports.
- Support compliance with health and safety regulations, enforcing policies such as smoking restrictions and accident prevention measures.

Prior experience in a security or similar role is highly advantageous, and experience within a hotel or hospitality environment is desirable.
